The title of this blog is the best way to describe the picture for this blog. When I think about what really matters in the midst of busyness, work, commitments, etc, it really is relationships. For me, relationships are central to who I am and what I do. My children are God’s greatest gift to me, a gift I do not deserve, a gift that keeps me on my toes, a gift that encourages, challenges, and loves. This is my favorite picture because it reminds me that even when there are bad days, we are happy. Beyond happiness, I have a true and deep joy that can be found only in Christ. I have been thinking over and over again the past several weeks how wonderful my life is and how blessed I feel by God for the great life I have been given. The even better news is that there is more to come: “Look at the nations and watch, and be prepared to be utterly amazed, for I am going to do something in your days that you would not believe, even if you were told.” (Habakkuk 1:5 paraphrase) Today I celebrate life and all that I have as I continue on towards my personal mission ‘to help others experience transformation through Jesus Christ.’
