I have gotten back into an exercise routine after at least a years absence (of routine at least) and I am thankful to be able to get back into the routine, although my body has done some protesting. I am glad to have more time to do this, more freedom in my work, and to have made it a greater priority. It has had a huge impact on my attitude, energy (at least until after dinner anyway) and my overall health. The scale is still a bit unfriendly, but Midwest hospitality, a loose lap band, transition and building back some muscle will do that. It could be worse. I am starting to see the value in exercise again and am writing this as a way to hold myself accountable to not leave this routine again. Thankful.
