I hate Daylight Savings Time! I am sure that I have written about this before, and the truth is that my hatred for this day grows rather than shrinks. There is little I hate, but Daylight Savings makes the short list. Its not just the spring forward part that I hate (although losing an hour of sleep is much worse than the one that is gained when we fall back), but the whole notion of the time change. Its one of our worst ideas even though it creates a better balance with daylight and night. I do love the longer days of light, but I hate the disruption that comes with changing the time. No matter what I do, it always messes me up for at least a week. I have trouble sleeping and things just do not seem to go right. It might just be my issue, may be connected to my seasonal disorder or just my love for schedule. No matter what the issue is on my end, I hate Daylight Savings Time and wish we did not have it. When I lived in Indiana, they did not have Daylight Savings Time (they do now I believe) and it was glorious. Its something that really messes with me and I felt the need to rant about how I wish it did not exist.
