We are all blessed. We are blessed that we might be a blessing to others. Sometimes our blessings are easy to notice, while other times it can be more difficult. We often see how others are blessed more than we see how we are blessed. As I reflect on the many blessings I experience each day, and all of the blessings I have experienced in my life, I cannot help but to be grateful. Its much easier to point out what is wrong than it is to see what is right. Its easier to look at weaknesses, failures, and unmet needs than it is to look at the good, the beautiful and the blessings. We are all created in the image of God and our identity is found in Christ, our true self is not the one that we invent nor is it the one that is invented by others, our true self is the self that God created us to be.

God has spoiled me. The way that God has spoiled me is in relationships. I look at my life, present and past (as well as the future) and I am amazed at the people that God has put in my life. From my best friend and wife Jessica, to my amazing children, and the many friends, mentors, teachers, colleagues, and others. The richness of the diversity, depth and abundance of the relationships I have and continue to experience is far beyond what I could have ever dreamed. These relationships have and continue to change me. They are the greatest gift I have been given outside of the gift of God. In this way not only am I blessed, but I am blessed to abundance.
